About Kizzy

Kizzy has a passion and talent for working with young horses, she loves nothing more than competing a young horse that she has produced. Kizzy has been riding for approximately 27 years and was a keen and active pony club member (and now instructor) being involved in all teams and competitions, all on home produced youngsters. During these years kizzy caught the eventing bug and produced her first event horse up to CCI** level. Since then Kizzy has produced many young horses successfully for eventing, dressage and show jumping. Kizzy and the team have also held a lecture/demo evening on "starting and producing the youg horse" which was well recieved and very infomative. Amongst Kizzy's many achievements are Burghley young event horse final qualifications, Winergy young event rider finalist and young intsructors advanced course. Kizzy also prepares young horses for BEF futurity evaluations and in 2008 produced the top scoring 3 yr old male eventer in the country. Kizzy also enjoys working with stallions and finds her patient aproach often builds a solid relationship with them.

The Team

Our team consists of anyone who wants a good day out!!! Anyone that fancies mucking in (or mucking out) and anyone who doesnt mind rolling their sleeves up!!! obviously not forgetting James Smith, Kizzy's husband and part time yard help and of course kizzy.

We have many supporters and friends that can always be relied upon to lend a hand when needed or to pop over with cakes and refreshments to keep us going.

A large part of Kizzy Smith Eventing is competing at shows and events on both clients horses and her own. We like nothing more than owners getting involved and enjoying their horses every bit as much we do. We are always grateful for their support.
